AIB welcomes both experienced and emerging angel investors, and we want founders from all backgrounds to feel that AIB is a community they can approach, connect with and grow with.
We are committed to making angel investing more accessible, inclusive and welcoming.
Investing is Optional – From £1,000 Upwards
We offer 12 months of free membership to ensure AIB is right for you. Then there is a £360/yr annual fee to help us pay for the admin support required to run the club.
We’re essentially ‘non-profit’ with four volunteer directors and one employed Operations & Events Coordinator (Debbi).
All of our investments have to be SEIS/EIS qualifying, enabling tax relief of 30-50% for our investors (see more here).
Our members can choose to invest in one or both of the two companies selected to pitch each month, or to not invest at all, there’s no obligation at all.
Members can support with between £1,000 to £30,000, the average being round £8,000.
