Purpose

The opportunity

Grace & Green combines ethical and innovative products with empowering period education, so that all people can navigate life with unwavering confidence and dignity.

Founder, Fran, spent over a decade in the water and sanitation sector. Having witnessed firsthand how conventional period products impact our water systems and the environment, she knew that a solution had to be found.

After three years of R&D, Grace & Green was launched, making products from organic bamboo and cotton, free from pesticides, dyes, bleaches, and other toxic chemicals. All products are certified organic and either reusable or biodegradable.

Rationale

Why We Invested

The purpose of the company is undeniably compelling. Combined with a super-focussed leadership team and growing market opportunity, we felt that supporting Grace & Green was absolutely the right thing to do on so many levels.

Other investors in the regional ecosystem felt the same way and we’re proud to have worked with Development Bank of Wales and other investors to conclude the funding round.

Use of Funds

Grace & Green has a well structured plan around scalable initiatives and channels that will drive both short-term gains and long-term profitable growth.

The heartfelt mission is ‘Dignity for All’, supported around an education plan, workplace initiatives and a range of new products with a detailed B2B and B2C Marketing Strategy.
